Knott Realty Group’s Construction Division has completed over seven million square feet of industrial buildings, office buildings, retail centers, schools, and municipal structures, along with Beechtree Golf Club. In 1999, the Beechtree Clubhouse received five of twentyone Building Congress & Exchange awards for outstanding craftsmanship. In 2001, Knott Realty Group’s headquarters building received a Craftsmanship Award for the outstanding masonry that characterizes all of Knott’s buildings. Over the last seven years alone, Knott has constructed over 900,000 square feet of buildings totaling nearly half a billion dollars.
In addition to working on Knott-developed projects, the Construction Division also serves outside owners, including the Church of the Ascension, the LDS Church, St. Philip Neri, The Catholic Review, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Maryland Sports Medicine, John Carroll and Roland Park Country Schools, Random House, Prince George’s County Detention Center, the City of Takoma Park, Howard County, the Montgomery County Public Schools system, Harford Community College and many more.
